Junior Achievement Alaska as an organization is to better serve the community, and support it with an educated future workforce. In return, we require the support of the community so we can continue as an organization.
This includes:
Junior Achievement (JA) of Alaska is not a United Way organization, and is not part of the school district. JA AK is a private non-profit, supported by local corporations, grants, and individuals. All of the funds raised locally support local programs.
Supporters not only donate their time and money, but they invest in the future of our state.
This includes:
- finding volunteers from the community who are willing to go into the classrooms.
- ~finding business professionals who are willing to serve as board members and support the administrative side of Junior Achievement.
